Information under the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59). Last updated: September 2026 (version 2026-09-23).
When you have bought an item by placing a bid on ccauktioner.se, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal as a consumer, without having to give any reason.
The 14 days are counted from the day after you receive the item — for in-person collection: the day after you collect the item; for shipping: the day after delivery to you.
The right applies when you as a consumer buy at a distance via ccauktioner.se — regardless of whether the item was previously owned by a private individual. Your seller is CCAuktioner (registered as a secondary trade name of Skånerot AB, Swedish company reg. no. 5566255849), acting as a trader under the Consumer Sales Act (2022:260) and the Distance Contracts Act (2005:59).
When the right of withdrawal does not apply. Full right of withdrawal applies to the vast majority of auction lots. In a few cases the right is excluded by law (Distance Contracts Act, ch. 2 sec. 11), including for custom-made or clearly personalised items and for sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken. Where a lot is covered by such an exception, this is stated in the lot's description.
You can notify us in any of the following ways:
It is sufficient that you send the notice before the 14-day period expires.
We will refund what you paid for the item, including any artist resale royalty that was part of the invoice, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may deduct for diminished value as described above (Chapter 2, Section 15 of the Distance Contracts Act). If you withdraw from the entire purchase we also refund the original delivery charge; if you chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard option, we refund no more than the cost of standard delivery. If you withdraw from only one of several items on the same invoice, the delivery charge is refunded only to the extent it would have been lower without the withdrawn item.
However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item, or until you have demonstrated that you have returned it — whichever occurs first (Distance Contracts Act, Chapter 2, Section 14).
Refunds are issued via the same payment method you used, unless otherwise agreed.
The above applies where you have bought goods from us. If you instead hand in items to us for sale, or order a service such as deceased-estate or house clearance, removal or collection, the following applies.
If the contract is concluded at your home or at another place outside our business premises, or at a distance without us meeting, and you are a consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw from the assignment. The period runs from the day the contract was concluded (Chapter 2, Sections 10 and 12 of the Distance Contracts Act) — not from the day we collect or receive the items. It is sufficient that you send the notice before the period expires.
If the contract is instead concluded in person at our premises, it is neither a contract concluded off-premises nor at a distance, and no right of withdrawal then applies. Nor does it apply if you are a trader.
What applies if you have asked us to begin work already during the 14 days — and what you may then need to pay — is set out in § 5 and § 6 of the seller framework agreement (Swedish). Use the withdrawal form for services below.
